Anyone who has seriously loved in good times and challenging times they will know that patience is the father and mother of love. We are patient with those we love and we give them time and room to adjust and become more like Christ.

People do so many things, I see some people and I call them and I say to them we have a saying in Igbo land “it’s not everything the eye sees that the mouth must talk about” you know because if you talk about everything you see yes you’re soon going to be very critical of people and they will not be your friends.

When we have patience we are never easily provoked, it’s not that people don’t do something that upset you. You just are not upset because of love, because your love is patient with them no matter what they do..

Being Born Of The Spirit And Life In The Spirit

Nobody lives the new life in their own strengths and that’s why the spirit of God has to come in to quicken the spirit to sensitize the conscience and make us alive again to the truth about God and the holy calling to which we have been called and that’s why it is important to emphasize that being born of that spirit is not just about speaking in other tongues or manifesting gifts, no! It is about the spirit transforming the life, transforming the character, conforming us into the image of Christ.

The Spiritual Man

The Spiritual Man is the ultimate pursuit of the Christian, it is the final, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came on earth to demonstrate what it means to be a Spiritual Man. The Apostle Paul struggled to articulate it and we really thank God that the struggle to produce the spiritual man out of the natural man is always a journey and it is not a road that is traveled reflexly, it is traveled consciously. So if you and I want to be spiritual men and women you have to desire it and you have to know that it is through the reality of your life every day that God will forge out the spiritual man. It is those circumstances, those challenges, those obstacles that mold the man, that make the man, that produce the gem out of the raw material that we offer to God.
